Dr. Kelsey Shumway PT, DPT, Cert-DN

Physical Therapist & Owner

Kelsey grew up in southern Utah playing sports, which is where she was first introduced to physical therapy. She went on to receive her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Rocky Mountain University and Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Utah State University.

Kelsey practices physical therapy with a fitness-forward approach to help you return to the activities you love or begin your journey towards a lifestyle change. Her passion is meeting clients wherever they are starting in their health/fitness journey and empowering them to reach their goals.

Kelsey specializes in orthopedic physical therapy (with specialization in the hip, low back, and knee pain), women’s health, and pelvic floor physical therapy. She has a special interest in treating postpartum women and helping them return to endurance sports, weightlifting, and exercise. She is trained in pelvic floor physical therapy through Herman and Wallace and has taken extensive courses in pregnancy & postpartum rehabilitation. Kelsey is also certified in dry needling, blood flow restriction training, and pregnancy and postpartum exercise corrective specialist (PCES). Outside of Physical Therapy, you can find her snowboarding, backpacking, hiking, mountain biking, and traveling.

Dr. Hayley Phillips, PT, DPT

Physical Therapist

Hayley completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree from Duke University in North Carolina and has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Southern Utah University. While at Duke, Hayley also completed a Master’s of Clinical Informatics Certificate to further her contributions in the clinic and focus on patient-based care.

Hayley specializes and has extensive training in women’s health, pelvic floor physical therapy, return to sport, orthopedic physical therapy, and vestibular rehabilitation. She is passionate about educating and helping women continue to be active throughout pregnancy, preparing for birth, and returning to activity safely postpartum as well as meeting any client at their level and helping them find success in their fitness journey. Hayley has a background in Crossfit, weight lifting, and a variety of sports. When she is not practicing, Hayley loves to spend time with her family outdoors as well as traveling to new places.  

Karen Myers, PT

Vestibular & Balance Specialist

Originally from the Philippines, she graduated from international school at 2005. Karen became a licensed physical therapist in 2015. She has extensive education and experience working on geriatric, balance, neurologic and vestibular therapy. Karen served as a clinical director from 2020-2023 of Fit Physical therapy balance center. She is a clinical instructor for multiple universities.

She is recognized as a Vestibular Specialist having completed her Vestibular competency course through Duke University School of Medicine and the American Physical Therapy Association. Karen loves being a physical therapist, she is passionate on helping her patients get back to function. Her patients love her friendly, fun, caring but determined personality. Outside work she loves exercising, hiking, photography, spending time with family and has passion for traveling.

Whitney Wilson, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant & Marketing Manager

Whitney, originally from Draper, Utah, discovered her passion for health and wellness through her lifelong dedication to dance. Whitney graduated from Provo College with a degree in physical science. Combining her academic background with her passion for dancer wellness, she has created a program tailored to the unique needs of dancers and dance instructors alike.

Whitney is experienced in orthopedic, pelvic floor, return to sport physical therapy and has a special interest in performance athlete rehabilitation. Through her various experiences in dance, Whitney is devoted to aiding her athletes in their journey towards growth and health without removing them from their sport. When she is not at the clinic she spending her time outdoors with her husband, or back in the studio teaching the next generation of dancers.

Sage Wright, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Sage’s journey into physical therapy began in her upbringing in Northern Utah, where her love for sports, particularly softball, ignited her interest in movement and rehabilitation. It was during this time that she discovered her passion for physical therapy and embarked on her path towards becoming a Physical Therapist Assistant, graduating from the  program at Utah Tech University.

Driven by a commitment to patient care, Sage's passion extends to individuals of all ages and abilities. She holds a special fondness for pediatric patients, where she advocates for each child to realize their full potential in movement and functionality. Sage actively engages with families, providing guidance and support to optimize their child's development and well-being.

Beyond the clinic, Sage finds joy in exploring new destinations and indulging in the natural wonders of Southern Utah through hiking and outdoor adventures. With a genuine dedication to empowering others and an enthusiasm for her profession, Sage embodies the essence of compassionate care and holistic wellness.

Kaylee McElreath, PTA

Physical Therapist Assistant

Kaylee is a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant with a passion for helping others recover and thrive. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science from the University of Utah and an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) in Physical Therapist Assistant from Utah Tech University, Kaylee is prepared and eager to help you recover.

As a licensed PTA, she has honed her skills in providing compassionate care and tailored rehabilitation plans to patients. She loves assisting individuals in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life through evidence-based practices. Outside of work, Kaylee loves spending time with her husband and dog in the outdoors. She grew up as an avid soccer player but enjoys any sport or game that brings out her competitive nature.

Cortney Olivas, CPT

Certified Personal Trainer


With over three years of experience as a personal trainer, I absolutely LOVE my job! I am a CPT with a degree in counseling psychology. Alongside that, I hold further certifications as a Core & Pelvic Floor Correctional Specialist and a Pelvis Pro. My focus is on strength training with keen awareness to muscular imbalances and core & pelvic floor intolerance’s so that my clients feel stronger both in and outside the gym. 

My training style is energetic, empathetic, motivating, and honest. I am deeply passionate about helping my clients realize they are capable of more than they believe. My approach is personalized and adaptive, continuously adjusting and refining workout plans based on my clients' progress and feedback. This dynamic method ensures that each client receives the most effective and relevant training experience. I am committed to providing all my clients with the best and most rewarding experience when working with me.

Physical Therapy Aide & Marketing Assistant

Alyxa Martin works as a Physical Therapist Aide at Shift, where she plays a crucial role in supporting skilled therapists and enhancing patient care. In her capacity, Alyxa assists with therapeutic exercises and contributes to the marketing team, leveraging her skills to help promote the organization. She is also pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy, demonstrating her commitment to advancing her expertise in the field. Alyxa’s dedication to both her professional role and academic pursuits underscores her passion for physical therapy and patient wellness.
